Find out about the collectionA musical argument that requires careful judging of the direction of melodic lines combined with a strong understanding of the overall structure. This is a relatively straightforward lyrical piece with no special effects. There is ample scope for sweet tone and gentle vibrato, contrasting with more aggressive passages. Bar 83 is cadenza-like, suggesting birdsong.
