A tribute/obituary to composer Anthony Gilbert by his friend and fellow composer Nicola LeFanu has been published, in yesterday's Guardian, and the Guardian online.  It tells the fascinating story of Tony's life, of how he came to be a composer and an inspiring teacher at the RNCM, from his early life as a linguist.  The article may be read here.  There is also an obituary to Tony in the Daily Telegraph, which may be accessed at this link.
