UYMP is delighted that renowned composer Luís Tinoco is to give a lecture/masterclass at the Composers’ Festival at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Amsterdam University of the Arts, on Saturday 13th May at 16.30, in the Theaterzaal.  The event will begin with a lecture with the title Tempus Fugit, in which Tinoco will share his knowledge and experience as a composer.  Following this, the great Portuguese Saxophone Quartet, the ‘Maat Quartet’, will play Tinoco’s highly acclaimed work Short Cuts, in a masterclass which will demonstrate how Tinoco works face to face with young musicians.
